Cruise Ships

ARE YOU SEARCHING FOR A HARD OR SOFT COATING TECHNOLOGY THAT OVERCOMES THE PROBLEMS OF THE PAST AND STOPS THE CYCLE OF WASTED TIME AND MONEY THAT THE CRUISE SHIP INDUSTRY AS A WHOLE, SEEMS TO BE INVOLVED IN?

The cruise ship industry has been saddled with inferior floor coating and fairing technology for years. When ships are built or rehabilitated, the same inferior technology is installed over and over again, in all areas of a ship, with the same disastrous results.

It’s generally accepted in the industry that every year, additional funds will have to be allocated to repair these systems. Every three years or so, the systems are removed at dry dock and reinstalled and this vicious cycle begins again.

Some smart cruise lines are now using ARR resins to replace the flawed systems of the past, with excellent results. NO FAILURES AND NO REPLACING AFTER THREE YEARS.

These fast, one-hour total cure ARR resins enable the removal of the failed systems down to the lightweight concrete, and then, the whole kitchens floor is replaced during dry-dock. The industry has not been able to do this in the past due to the slow, inferior curing mechanism these failed systems employ.

IFS has fast cure impervious systems and technology over concrete, wood, steel or aluminum substrates for use in the following areas, among others:

• galley/kitchen floor

• bar back floors

• ship decks

• toilets and showers in common areas or in cabins

• fairing & wearing courses that are flexible, waterproof and sound deadening

• imitation teak or real virgin teak incorporated over a thick, flexible, waterproof sound deadening fairing course

• soft or hard sport surfaces

• engine rooms,

just about anywhere a hard or a soft surface is required on a ship, IFS has a permanent waterproof, solution.
